Dr. Doom's Fear Fall ride, Universal Studios Islands of Adventure
This complex project was under an intense deadline and had a major problem that could have prevented Universal's Islands of Adventure Theme Park from opening on schedule. Being that this sculpture was delivered missing the required grooves all over the body and hands, figuring out a way to create perfectly uniform grooves all over the thin shelled Styrofoam sculpture was a major challenge with no apparent solution. Helping out at Sightline Studios, Moshe, who was hired to head both the mould making and fiberglass productions departments, devised a plan to reverse cast and mould new custom body panels with grooves. Once the sculpture was re-clad with these new body parts, these huge and complex rubber and fiberglass moulds were then made by Moshe and his crew. The 6 Doombots were
delivered just in time and the park was able to open on schedule.
